Whale Season in Saint Lucia
· Chris Hackshaw

What a private safari looks like
You depart from Vigie Marina in Castries and head out for about 4 hours aboard our 50-ft luxury power catamaran. The boat can carry up to 40 guests and is for your group only. There is no deck full of strangers, so the crew has time for your questions, your kids and your camera angles.
A WCA-certified guide is on board, and drinks, light snacks, and fruit platters are included. Snorkel gear is available on request.
How we watch whales, and why it matters
We are a member of the World Cetacean Alliance. For us, that means viewing from a respectful distance and no chasing. The animals get a better say in the encounter, and they stay safer for the next group that comes along.
The World Cetacean Alliance's standards require certified operators to publicise and follow guidelines for safe approach and to make the trip a real learning experience.
The honest odds
Wildlife is wild, and we do not guarantee specific animals. What we do guarantee is local knowledge, time on productive water, and a private day shaped around your group.
We like to offer a 75% chance of sightings.
Before you book, message us. Our crew reads the water every day and will tell you what has been seen recently.
What to bring
- Sun protection and a light layer, especially for kids.
- Polarised sunglasses, which help you spot blows and fins.
- A phone or camera with a charged battery and room for photos. A longer lens helps with distant animals and keeps a wider shot ready for dolphins at the bow.
- Something to protect your gear from spray. Never lean past the rail for a shot.
